Bios on some of the alumni panelists:

Ozzy Raza (RH undergrad & Gabelli MBA)
Ozzy's career began in Management Consulting, where he specialized in distressed turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and the oversight of large-scale programs. A seasoned leader in both technology and business, he has a proven track record of driving organizational modernization and transformation. Throughout his career, Ozzy has skillfully leveraged cutting-edge technology and business process re-engineering to address complex challenges at prominent companies like Citigroup, Hearst Corporation, NBCUniversal, and Bridgewater Associates.

After his tenure in the corporate world, Ozzy transitioned to entrepreneurship, amassing over 15 years of experience in launching and scaling Tech startups. His entrepreneurial ventures have led to three successful exits in diverse sectors such as peer-to-peer transportation, supply chain management, and telecommunications, demonstrating his broad industry expertise and business acumen.


Two years ago, Ozzy entered the Payment Processing industry by founding Equepay and forming a partnership with various Payment Processors. Driven by a deep passion for technology, he is committed to transforming payment processing by applying advanced technologies across the entire Payment Processing Ecosystem, from Merchant Acquisition to Support & Maintenance. Ozzy aims to revolutionize payment systems in various sectors, including healthcare, retail, hospitality, and education, by integrating these technological innovations. He constantly challenges the status quo by asking, "What would Payment Processing look like if it started today?"

Ozzy holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics with a minor in Philosophy from Fordham University. He also earned an MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Management from Gabelli Business School.

Colin Wexler (Gabelli undergrad – 2022)
Colin Wexler is a Business Consultant in the Financial Services practice of EY with a focus on Business Transformation. He completed his B.S. from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business in Finance with a concentration in Fintech.


Colin has supported large-scale transformations and has worked with business and technology leads to manage the delivery of large-scale global programs.  Most recently Colin has supported the launch of EYs public alliance with MoneyLion, a NYC based publicly traded Fintech company. This alliance aims to speed up digital transformation in the banking sector by expanding banks service offerings and delivering a more streamlined and technologically driven financial ecosystem.

Carina Oriel (Gabelli undergrad – 2020)
Carina Oriel is the Head of Rise New York & FinTech Platform Lead at Rise, created by Barclays. Carina leads ecosystem engagement with early and growth-stage startups to leverage emerging technologies and support Barclays' open innovation strategy. She oversees Rise's New York innovation hub, consisting of 80+ startups, scaleups, and VCs, which provides members and the broader NYC fintech community with access to ecosystem connectivity, mentorship, and thought leadership opportunities. Additionally, she is an Expert for Primary Ventures, NYC's top early-stage venture firm, and provides strategic advice and guidance to the investment team and founders within the Primary portfolio and broader network. She is also an active member of the MoVi Collective. Carina was named one of NYC FinTech Women's Inspiring Fintech Females in 2023.

Prior to joining Barclays, Carina led Corporate Development and Strategy at an early-stage inclusive Fintech venture studio focused on bridging the US and Philippine markets. She started her career at Alvarez & Marsal in their Restructuring and Turnarounds practice. Carina holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and FinTech, from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business. She is originally from Los Angeles, California.
